Tom’s Drive In set for grand opening

The latest restaurant to open in Fond du Lac will have a grand opening on Monday, July 13, 2026. This puts the grand opening one week later than what was previously reported as Tom’s has pushed the opening back one week.

Tom’s Drive in will open for the first time on the 13th at 10:30 a.m. at their location at 876 east Johnson Street.

According to the Tom’s Drive in website, the restaurant is a family-owned Wisconsin restaurant chain operating since 1960. Known for its made-to-order flame-broiled 100% Angus burgers, signature fries, and creamy milkshakes, the restaurant offers high-quality fast food. It also features a massive menu of ice cream treats and a uniquely fun dine-in atmosphere.

The grand opening will feature a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. with the first 100 customers receiving a free swag bag. Their will also be free face painting for kids and a special performance by the Fond du Lac High School Band.

The first 100 orders of the day can also be entered for free Tom’s for a year. The restaurant says they will be giving away 10 of these prizes which will give the winner one free regular combo every week for 52 weeks.

This is the 10th Tom’s Drive Inn to open in the state of Wisconsin.
