Two motorcycle riders injured in Dodge County crash

Dodge County officials responded to a double motorcycle crash Monday afternoon, September 7, 2026.

A 56-year-old Mayville man suffered serious injuries in the crash which occurred in the Town of Westford.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office says the crash happened around 12:30 Monday afternoon on County Highway F-W when a Harley-Davidson trike and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle were traveling north together when the trike attempted to turn right into a parking lot.

The motorcycle, which was following the trike, rear-ended it. The motorcycle’s 56-year-old Mayville rider was thrown from the bike and suffered serious injuries.

He was flown from the scene to UW Hospital in Madison by UW Med Flight.

The 76-year-old Mayville man driving the trike suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet. Investigators say the lack of helmet use was a factor in the severity of the motorcycle rider’s injuries.
