Walleye Weekend is here!

The final preparations are being put in place in Lakeside Park today for the start of Walleye Weekend this weekend. The festival officially starts Friday, June 6, 2025, at 3 PM with food, live music on three different stages and lots of other activities like a softball tournament, kids games and activities, pier pups, and the wild world of animals show.

Bands Boogie and the Yo Yos will be on the Mercury Marine Point West Stage at 7PM sponsored by 107.1 The Bull, and the band Warden will take the Grande Cheese Center Stage at 8.

The Mercury Marine Walleye fishing tournament will take place Saturday and Sunday, as will the family friendly Kids tournament for kids ages 15 and younger on Saturday, or a Family tournament held on Sunday. The family tournaments are held on Oven Island with fish caught weighed on electronic scales with the most weight winning.
