Warm spell sets at least one record high for Fond du Lac – more may be coming

With high pressure and plenty of sunshine in place, the Midwest is experiencing warmer than normal temperatures for the middle part of February.

The high temperature Friday, February 13, 2026 made it up to a record 48 degrees, beating the old record set in 1999 by one degree.

While Saturday and Sunday forecasted highs look to fall a few degrees short of records, at 47 and 45 degrees respectively, Monday has a chance to at least tie the record which is 55 degrees set in 1981 as the forecasted high as of Saturday morning is 53 degrees.

This warm stretch looks to come to an end Thursday after a cold front moves through, dropping highs down to 38 Thursday and 33 Friday.
