Waupun man and woman charged with child neglect-drug trafficking

The Waupun Police Department has announced that criminal charges have been filed against a 36-year-old Waupun woman following an investigation into drug activity and child welfare concerns.

The charges stem from an investigation and search warrant executed in October 2025 in Waupun after law enforcement received information indicating drugs were being used and stored inside a residence where children were present. Additional information suggested the children in the home may be neglected or endangered.

During the investigation, officers recovered drugs and drug paraphernalia, along with probable cause to support neglect charges.

As a result of the investigation, criminal charges have been filed by the Fond du Lac County District Attorney Office including
4 counts – Neglecting a Child
1 count – Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place
1 count – Manufacture/Delivery of THC
1 count – Possession of THC (2nd or Subsequent Offense)
2 counts – Delivery of Drug Paraphernalia to a Minor
2 counts – Possess Drug Paraphernalia
and 1 count – Contributing to the Delinquency of a Child
Additionally, criminal charges have also been filed against a 42yr old Waupun man, which consist of 3 counts of Neglecting a Child related to the same investigation.

Because the case involves children, names have not been released at this time.
