Waupun woman faces several charges related to sexual assault of a child

A 29-year-old Waupun woman is facing several felony charges following an investigation into an alleged sexual assault involving a child.

Waupun Police say the woman was arrested October 28th and transported to the Dodge County Detention Facility.

The charges include first-degree sexual assault of a child, incest with a child, and three counts of possessing child pornography.

The Dodge County District Attorney’s Office has filed the charges. The woman made her initial court appearance and is being held on a 100-thousand-dollar cash bond.

Police say the investigation involved assistance from Dodge County Child Protective Services and the Wisconsin Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
