We almost had the answer!

The age old question of why did the chicken cross the road was almost answered today, Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

At 8:46 AM a Fond du Lac County deputy was dispatched to Highway 23 near Silver Creek Road, just east of Ripon for the report of chickens crossing the highway.

A Town of Ripon officer was first on the scene, but when questioned, the chickens chose their 5th amendment right to remain silent, so the question still remains… Why DID the chicken cross the road.

If anyone has any information on this incident, they are asked to contact the sheriff’s office. (But not really as this is satire.)
