Woman Found In Lake Michigan Near Port Washington After Being Missing For About A Week

The body of the woman that Ozaukee and Sheboygan County authorities were searching for in Lake Michigan after she disappeared while paddle boarding off the shore of Harrington Beach last Wednesday has been found near Port Washington.

Her paddleboard was found off the shore of southern Sheboygan County the day after she disappeared . Her life vest was found the next day.

The victim has been identified as 49-year-old Teresa Stiff of Muskego. The cause of death appears to be accidental drowning, according to the sheriff’s office.
